A good group for todays hike.  Terrible traffic resulted in a few not making it to the hike and a couple of dedicated souls arrived late but found us on the trail.  We hit all the hills in the park and the group kept together so throughout.  We hit all the hot spots in East Palisades including the Bamboo Forest and the observation deck.  The trails were wet in places from all the recent rains and because of the wet conditions, we didn't attempt the BAH.  We also skipped the dog beach as it was underwater.  We finished our approximately 5 mile hike in exactly 2 hours. 

We had one relatively new member of the club on the hike today, Ken who was on his 4th AOC event.  Welcome Ken and look forward to seeing you on future AOC hikes.  ~ Holt
