Oh, what a beautiful morning! I love it when people call before a hike to say they may be a bit late because of traffic, they stay on the hike, they arrive early, and they are welcoming of new members. Those are the kinds of folks that fill up our weekday hikes in this part of town.

We altered our route a bit, exiting Leita Thompson to hike about a mile and a half through the neighboring subdivision, Wildwood Springs, before returning to the trails to continue the hike. It satisfied the explorer-urge some of us have, especially when the trails have been travelled very frequently. ~ Joyce
