The air had a definite coolness to it this morning - - at least for the first part of the hike. We stayed in the Sope Creek section taking criss-cross trails to get in close to 6 miles. The pace was comfortable, so the conversation flowed freely. How nice to be finished and still have the day ahead for other activities.

We were treated to the sighting of two fawns who allowed us the chance to take some photos!~ Joyce
