We had a nice little mosey on Saturday morning! We had a brand new hiker, Bart, join us, as well as Lorraine, who joined us for her second hike. Several faces were familiar, and we were also glad to have many hikers join our group for the first time.

Unlike past hikes, we wandered north on the new boardwalk. After about 3/4 of a mile, it came to an end. We turned around and came back, and with our extra time took a look at the new boardwalk heading towards Emory, which should be officially open on the 19th, according to a nice gentleman we met at the park. We're looking forward to exploring it in the future, but in the meantime, we'll enjoy our old favorites!
