A good group of 13 for today's hike on the Interstate North trails of CRNRA.  We started on the multi purpose trail and then crossed the beaver dam swamp on the boardwalk before heading up and down the various ridges of Interstate North.  After reaching the office buildings off Powers Ferry road, we started to head back towards the river.  Another climb up one of the area "unofficial" trails and we reached the Wildwood area.  Finally we headed back to the river via some of the Cochran Shoels part of the CRNRA and them back to the parking lot via the multi purpose trail.

As we were nearly back to the cars, several of the group did a short hike to the top of a knob overlooking the beaver pond before finally reaching our cars and the end of the hike.  We logged 5 miles in about 2 hours.  ~ Holt
