Write Up:
A great group of hikers set out on a tough weekday hike of the Coosa Backcountry Trail. The weather turned nice for us and while it was a tad hot, a gentle breeze kept us from over heating. We all made it around the trail in fine fashion. Weekday hikes are great in that they offer a bit more solitude than a Saturday or Sunday. I think we ran into one other hiker toward the end of our 13 mile trek. While the Coosa does not offer any great views there is something special about this remote trail and everyone in our group enjoyed it immensley.
