Write Up:
Saturday's day was with 12 well seasoned hikers and some good weather. The trail offered us dry conditions but lots of blowdown ( nothing that really slowed us down). With the winter hike we had views of Blood and Slaughter for most of the day. Even Sosabee valley had some clear views of hollows that seemed bottomless. Overall it was a clean hike, got back to Vogel parking lot with the proposed hiking time ( not that it was a race). Well pleased with the collection time at all stops. We were all on the same pace! Bob J and Alli hope you guys feel better, we'll see you on the next hike. Want to welcome back Steven E & Alice E back to the club. Also my compliments to the group for finishing one of the toughest hikes in The North Georgia Mountains. Next week 17.0 Kennesaw.
