First, a Happy Birthday to Debbie who shared her special day with us at Vickery Creek!
It was a beautiful morning for a hike with chilly, dry air and overcast skies (which are great for photo taking!). All 20 members showed up not only on time, but early - - so we were able to start our hike right on time.
Many of the group got to walk up the new stairs by the covered bridge for the first time . . . and even more of us got to try out the new boardwalk by the oldest of the mill ruins.
It was great to be back as co-lead for Trena - - our first hike together in two months! Special days coming up with Steve's 400th on Thursday and Holt's 200th next Monday. Additionally, Bob's 400th is on tap for Thursday next week. Gotta love those centennial celebrations! ~ Joyce
