Very enjoyable late afternoon hike at Simpsonwood.  Learned some history of the park from Tom J.  who lives very close to the park.  Alla showed up a few mintues late but she hiked on her own for a bit until she caught up with the rest of the group.  Started out a bit overcast but the sun came out shortly and it was a glorious afternoon.  I was surprised that very few of the hikers had ever been to Simpsonwood before and most live fairly closeby.  Will definitly post this hidden gem more often. Thanks Tom for your knowledge and direction.
