Write Up:

We had the "Luck o' the Irish" with such a gorgeous sunny afternoon, and enjoyed exploring the beautiful wooded trails at Frazier-Rowe park.  The spring flowers and new green leaves were popping out all around us and we delighted in stopping often along the way to admire the wild birds and such amazing things such as green-limbed Trifoliate Orange trees, Devil's Walking Sticks and 150-year-old Tulip Magnolias.
As planned we then celebrated St. Pat's Day with an assortment of delicious Irish-style food & refreshments at a big picnic table by the Park trailhead.  Thanks to Laura's mom Judy for joining us during this festive "finale" of the event.
Thanks also to Todd for his fine job accompanying our singing of about a dozen old Irish favorites with his harmonicas while I played my guitar and Jucy the tambourine.  Several of the new park visitors and their kids even got into the act with us on The Unicorn Song, singing and performing the "Noah's-ark green alligators & long-neck geese" hand/arm movements with admirable talent!  At Todd's suggestion we concluded the spirited sing-along with Van Morrison's Brown Eyed Girl.
I look forward to our encoring this traditional AOC
St. Patty's Day event again next March.  Submitted by Charlie, Mon Mar 18th
