Hey all - I made a mental error with regards to our 5th anniversary.  It's the 30th - not the 23rd!!!  Hopefully, everyone can make it to both hikes:) . We welcomed Larry back - his first big hike since his broken ribs!  We started the hike around the pond and saw tons of turtles sunning.  And it was a great day for sunning as it was a great and sunny day.  As we were making our way along the back of the ranger station, we spotted a large Eastern Black Kingsnake.  Size ranged anywhere from 3 to 6 feet depending on who tells the story - just like any fish story!! LOL!  Since part of our group didn't stop to view the snake, I have no clue who got up the warm up hill first.  I just know I was last - again:) . Great hike, temps are creeping up so it's important to  stay hydrated.  But once again, thanks for supporting us week in and week out!!  Looking forward to the 30th!!! ~ Carol
