Write Up:
Hello Fellow Shining Stars!  How many wishes did you make this over our stellar weekend?  I made six!  Every shooting star was as fun to see as the first one; it brings back that moment when magic and wishing on stars was 'real'.

It was a pleasure to be your trip leaders this weekend, what a great easy-going (card-game cheating, you know who you are!) group of people!  Choosing the campground, Enota, was an easy decision - it is easily conveniently located right in the Chattahoochee National Forest, which meant plenty of some of the best hiking and viewing in N. Georgia.  Now, having been there, it was an awesome decision!  What a great campground and campsites; who knew you could have the luxury of sleeping in a tent next to a bubbling brook followed by a massage the next day?  ;-)

You all hung in there when it got a little chilly on Friday during the stargazing up on the mountain.  John Bell did a great job pointing out all of the different celestial bodies... planets, stars, the Andromeda Galaxy and  more that night AND Saturday night.  What a treat to have the big telescope for our viewing pleasure.

Speaking of treats - wow!  Bob, Debbie and John Law sure did treat us right with the sweets on Saturday night after dinner; what a wonderful sugar high to end the day with.  A big "Thank You" to a few more shining stars.... Wooyi and Alfred / Bob and Debbie for the letting us use your camp stoves, propane and the canopy tents.  Both were a huge help, the stoves helped the yummy meals move to the table faster and the canopy kept the 'threat' of rain to a mere threat.    

Thank you to Kim, Jay, Stefan, Pam, Scott and others for helping with clean up, dishes and trash pick up - that is such a huge help!

Pam is already scoping out the next big Celestial Being sighting... stay tuned to the AOC calendar for future events.
