We covered a lot of territory in our 8 mile trek this morning! Not only did we do the perimeter of Vickery Creek, but we toured the Founders' Cemetery, the dams, Roswell Park, a little urban hiking . . . quite a smorgasbord of sites!

We saw a dead snake, a very pretty box turtle, lots of flowers and lots of water, all while enjoying the company of sociable, friendly hiking companions. 

We were happy to welcome a few newer members to Vickery Creek - - Leigh, Brenda, and Karen. And we enjoyed the company of Chase, Agnes's cute little pup. ~ Joyce
