Threats of rain but that did not deter this group.  Everyone came prepared but as it turned out, the "Joyce" bubble prevailed.  Rain, what rain!!  But the humidity was certainly present so even though it didn't rain, we all ended the hike looking as if it had rained!!  We had a great group and maintained a steady pace.  It seems as it 5.5 miles is our norm as that is about what we did today.  We did climb our "lovely" warm-up hill with Steve Fix and Susan racing to the top!!  It was declared a tie!!
