The skies stayed overcast, we didn't have a drop of rain, and the temperature stayed well below 90 for our hike, so we felt very lucky - - and we had a great hike! We encountered a group of men doing rescue practice - - and offered to jump into the water so they could do a real rescue. (They were willing, but if they were unsuccessful, that would leave the hikers without a trip leader - - and I just couldn't risk that!) ~ Joyce
