Trena wasn't able to join us for today's hike, and she missed a special day - - Janet's 300th AOC event! We kept a very steady pace for our 2 hour hike, covering around 5 miles before our end-of-hike celebration. Everyone looked forward to the popsicles, but there was an additional treat - - a beautiful Happy Birthday cookie, cupcakes, and a helium balloon! (My birthday is tomorrow.) Janet and I were happy to share the spotlight on today's hike. We've been hiking friends since I first joined the AOC in 2010. Thanks to all in the group for making this a special day. ~ Joyce
