It's always an honor when a member chooses to celebrate a special centennial hike with us . . . . and Gerrilyn planned weeks in advance to have it happen today. We congratulated her and honored her with the usual photo, bandana and rock. She was well-pleased.

Our hike was great. Although the temperature was expected to be high, cloud cover kept the intense heat down as we did a big loop around the park, covering both sides of the dam on our trek. Trena brought popsicles as a post-hike refresher - - always a much anticipated ending to our summer Monday morning hikes. ~ Joyce
