Today's hike was extra special, because it was DaveO's 500th AOC event! The group members helped to celebrate, so aside from the expected poster-photo, rock, and bandana, the celebration included Gerrilyn's fruit, Bette's medallion, Susan's photo-card, and popsicles! DaveO was well pleased with the recognition (500 events - quite an accomplishment)!  

The group stayed together well under DaveO's watchful eye. We stopped at the bamboo forest and elected to tackle the BAH. We sweated plenty in the high heat, but everyone in the group was fit for the hike. It was a perfect celebration of an admirable accomplishment! ~ Joyce
