Another great group of 19 hikers for today's hot, humid hike in the central portion of the Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park.  We first headed out the Noses Creek trail, turning onto the Hardage Mill Trail on the way to Noses Creek.  After crossing the bridge, we headed up the Noses Creek trail again to Dallas Highway.  Back north on the Hardage Mill trail to the bridge, we completed our figure 8 hike using the New Salem Church Trail and the Pigeon Hill cutoff before dropping back down to the parking lot.  Our hike was a little over 5 miles and achieved almost 800 feet of elevation gain.  We finished on time and literally 1 minute before it started raining.  ~  Holt
