The weather Gods looked favorably on us for our hike at West Palisades.  With rain chances at 70-80% only a few days before our hike, the chance of rain dropped by the morning of the hike so 18 of us headed out for a morning jaunt.  We criss crossed the entire park doing my normal loop counter clockwise instead of my usual direction.  It was an interesting change which made the hike seem completely different hiking it in reverse.  The group was feeling strong even in the humid conditions and we finished 10 minutes early which was fortuitous as it started raining just as we reached our cars.  ~ Holt
