It was certainly great to be back on the trails after two weeks of travel. Today was special because I was able to (finally) honor Claudia's 100th AOC event. She had planned it to be on our Monday hike two weeks ago, but I had to cancel that hike due to emergency travel. So this was the first belated chance to recognize her milestone event! And check out Janet's seasonal earring - - a Christmas theme! (She always has the best earrings for photos!)

We have to get through December without Trena, so we're exploring some trails most of the group haven't hiked before. Next week's location is another new one - - Turtle Back Trail. It promises to be a good one! ~ Joyce
