Write Up:
We took our hike around the base of the mountains which gave us a break from the crowds. The views were great from the west side. The crossing of the fields had a fresh cut which worked out well for Chase - our little fur friend. We had a clean trail... no mud and very little horse poop. Hardage Mill gave us some wonderful views! Noses Creek was good for crossing, even though some chose the bridge. Overall it was a very quiet Trail and a perfect number of hikers for this event. I would consider D-3 level hikers and maybe some good D-2s for this event. No climbs except for Hardage Mill.
