Write Up:
I was given a fabulous group today! Some hikers came all the way from West Georgia, South Georgia and North. Oh ... did I mention also South Dakota? We got in a smooth hike thanks to the group and the weather. We had a sit down lunch at Subway and really just took our time and still finished close to our schedule. We missed Rufus our trail buddy but had Randall's cat, Persistence, which never made a peep out of his backpack. After the hike we grouped ourselves at the parking lot in anticipation to dig in to Ann's famous Snickerdoodle cookies. Marie H and Curtis G completed their first D-5. On another note - Ann C finished biking over 6,000 miles for 2019! I truly enjoyed all of you joining me on my hikes this past year! Happy New Year!!! Chuck R.
