Thank you, thank you, thank you to the rain bubble that just never (ok, rarely) fails to keep our Thursday morning hike dry. We reached the parking lot in rain, but as soon as we began our trek, the rain stopped. When we reached the top of the warm-up hill (yes, Susan was first up) jackets began to be opened and rain gear removed. The rest of the hike was dry with even a few moments of the sun peeking through.

We'll miss seeing Allen and Bunnie's Scooter who will soon be fostered out to a family up north. Scooter loves to hike atop Allen's backpack and stays there throughout the hike.
