Yesterday's heavy rains made for some muddy trails today, but no one complained. Most of us had prepared for the trail conditions by wearing waterproof boots, but those who hadn't did just fine. The temperatures stayed in the 50's, but with the bright sun and hills, the group quickly removed layers and even peeled down to short sleeves without getting cold.

It was great to have Trena back with us after a month of full-time work that took her off the trails! She's planning a special Sweetwater Creek hike next week! ~ Joyce
