What another beautiful day!!  We had a great group of 19 (Larry - - # 20 - - sliced his finger right before the hike and couldn't make it.  His finger required 6 stitches!!). You will see a picture that Joyce took with the guys on the hike showing their empathy!!   We celebrated Shirley's  700th  hike and as her card stated - through blood, sweat and grit!! Congrats to Shirley on a great accomplishment.  She is now ready to tackle mountains!!  Dan C. was first one up the hill with no one nearby.  We covered close to 6 miles and over 700 feet of elevation. For the majority of our hikers, this was our First Thursday Island Ford hike of the year:).   Welcome to 2020!  Hope to see everyone next week. ~ Carol
