Write Up:Due to heavy rains all day we ended up being just three hikers - myself, Angela, and brand new AOC member Steve! We lucked out as the weather cleared up just in time for our hike. We hiked the entire park from end to end and several loops in between. Due to the rains there were very few people out and lots of wildlife! We saw close to 20 deer throughout the hike including some babies, and also saw frogs, turtles, crawley creatures, squirrels and birds. We got to hear about Steve's upcoming Yosemite trip and talked about some of our past hiking adventures too. The river was very full, muddy and the currents were strong. It was a great day in a beautiful park with grerat company!
