Beautiful sunny day, though very cold and windy, nine of us trekked up to the summit of Siler Bald.  Hiking on the A.T. to Snowbird Gap was mostly sunny and decently warm.  Challenging to get the clothing right.  Very windy at the top but we managed to get plenty of photos.  Lunched at the camping spot at the gap.  Strong hikers, interesting conversations getting to know newer people and longer time friends.  Good trail conditions.  Love those mountains!  Six of us finished off the day for dinner at Clark's On Main in Clayton with excellent service and good food.
