Write Up:
We kept 15 hikers on a good flow! Speaking of flow the Sweetwater was raging with at least a class 5 in some areas. This event always delivers a challenging hike for the D3 and D4 hikers. The area gives a mix of flats, hills and the technical red trail! It's always a treat to see the folks who have never seen this park. We are excited to see John B soon approaching his 200th event! We also had a celebrity who is a new member to our club. She is Jenay Thompson, a world medalist in the 2019 IDBF Dragonboat Worlds championship. I want to put a shout out to all those busy TLs out there hosting events throughout this rainy season. I think my next job will be a meteorologist!! For this hike I learned to keep a full count at all stops. ( all stops!)
