We had a lucky 13 hikers on the hike today at Kennesaw.  We tackled the Noses Creek and Hardage Mill trails, doing a figure 8 using both trails before heading out past the Old Salem Church site.  We crossed Burnt Hickory before heading out the Brumby trail.  Along the way we explored an old homestead site right off the Brumby trail where we saw bricks, metal and other debris from the old homestead.  We also saw numerous daffodils nearby which is usually a good indicator of homesteads.  We next headed across on the connector trail to reach Pigeon Hill.  We walked amongst the rocks as we descended back to the parking lot and the end of our hike,  ~ Holt
