It might have been posted last minute, but the hike this morning garnered a large group of eager hikers. There are apparently lots of folks who love to sleep in a bit on Sunday morning who loved the 11 am start time!

We had a wonderful assortment of members, ranging from Toni, who hasn't hiked with us since 2016, to Debra, a brand new member on her first hike with the AOC. We even ran across two AOC members doing their own hikes - - KimVo and Elliott.

The day was beautiful and the hike most pleasant. There were some muddy, flooded areas, but the trails have improved since last week's heavy rains. And we got to meet a new canine . . . Debra's friendly lab, Cali (short for California). ~ Joyce
