Write Up:
Got a solid D-2 out of this hike. I finally put in the blue trail... nice topography, healthy woods no standing dead or snags. We got a view of the Creek on the Northeastern side. I had another good turn out for the weekday group, always punctual and ready to hike! They keep up with the miles, elevation and always learning the trails. Tough group, a hiker took a bad fall - 6 deep from the line - I could hear the contact to the ground! This hiker asked for no help getting up! The pace was picked up slightly on most of the hike... everyone was a capable hiker, even the 2 trail dogs. Still the big nemesis is humidity, bees, and thunderstorms!! Not seeing many snakes this year. Returned on a scheduled time to a full parking lot.
