We had a good group for today's hike on the Kolb Farm loop at Kennesaw Mountain NBP.  Everyone arrived early so we started the hike ahead of schedule.  The terrain on our hike was relatively flat so we were able to move fairly quickly around the loop counter clockwise.  We even had time to spare when we got close to Illinois Monument so we added a little extra half mile and got to see some of the earthworks we normally miss on this loop.  We finished our 6.2 mile hike in a little over 2 hours.
