It was a beautiful day for paddling on Sunday! Our group of 10 had a wonderful time kayaking nine miles through the Dawson Forest on the Etowah River. There were only a few other people on the river so we had it almost to ourselves for the whole paddle. A little over halfway down we stopped and pulled our boats out below a rapid to take a break, have a snack and enjoy the cool water and scenery. Thanks to Karin for taking the photos.

A great time was had by all and we look forward to more paddles in the near future!
