Vickery Creek had a lot of traffic today. We passed one large group known as the Terrific Tuesday Hikers as well as tens of other park visitors. People seem to be very aware of keeping social distance when passing others. 

After a warm-up period, including taking time to photograph the Great Blue Heron, Russ picked up the pace, which required careful watching of the trails. Our sure-footed group of veteran hikers had no problem with the roots and rocks, so we were able to get in 5 miles despite stops for photos and water. ~ Joyce
