This was a weather sensitive hike. The tail end of Laura was making her exit at the same time of our starting time on Saturday. After sending out several email updates on the weather to the attendees. I learned at the briefing, no one received any of them. They relied on the event itinerary for instructions. If the event was to be modified, there would have been confusion. I originally received all of my TL emails so I assuming everyone got these messages. This storm - at the time on earlier emails had forecasted possible damaging winds and heavy downpours at our starting time. ( we lucked out but still had some rain and winds) The group really had no guidance or instructions about the meet up. ( earlier in week ) I'm no tech but which end is this my service provider or club??? Attendees are finding the emails in their spam. "Seems to be the new normal for me?? This could of gotten really messy!! It's 6:23 am - Oh! trying to post this and the site is down?
