What a special day it was. TWO giant centennial events in one day: Susan F.'s 900th event and Dan C.'s 300th. We were so honored to celebrate with them today!

Susan was first up the warm-up hill . . . on her first Island Ford hike since last March. She hasn't lost a bit of speed up that hill! Dan C. was just a second behind her. I guess all of that hiking makes strong legs!

We ramped up the speed today and clocked in 6.1 miles . . . and that's without hiking on the flat river trail. We got in a lot of elevation as well as a lot of distance!  

It might as well have been raining today, because we were all drenched by the end of the hike!

Special thanks to Steve Fix for the photos he took and added to the album. It was a struggle for both of us to get the pictures posted from today's hike . . . but we're really happy to be able to have recorded today's wonderful event. ~ Joyce
