We did introductions in the parking Lot and found out we had ten Mikes on this hike. The weather was chilly and foggy, being members of THE Atlanta Outdoor Club, why would that slow us down? We than did a slow lap around The Pond. We passed the Visitor Center where we picked up speed as we continued along the river. From there we zig zagging along the trails eventually ending up back at the parking lot. One more lap around The Pond and back to the parking lot where we wished each other a Happy New Year and agreed it was a nice way to end 2020!

I would like to thank Ann for joining us on her second hike and Jeff for his fourth. I cannot forget to thank the rest of the group for how they welcomed our newer members.
