Good Morning everyone,

 Yesterday evening was rainy and foggy but it didn't stop a group of diehard enthusiast from hiking up the top of Kennesaw Mountain. For Deanna this was her first time up the mountain and though the reward at the top is what makes it all worth the while she will need to come back another time because we were all cover in a foggy cloud. Katherine got a great work out up the hill and I talking to her didn't make the breathing easier. I don't know if John did get the GPS to work or not but with some practice I am confident that you will master it, we might have needed it on the way back.

We continued to General French's rock and not even Danny was able to find the Texas inscription, something for next time. Steven also has an assignment for next time but that is more of a geologic matter, the type of granite the mountain is. Danny made the call to return back due to the coming darkness and his experience and knowledge made this the right call. Marshall and I got caught in interesting conversations that kept us going the whole way back, arriving at the visitor center in darkness.
