It was a cold morning with temperatures in the mid 20’s at the start of the hike and a lot of sunshine. We did introductions at the Parking Lot. Then followed the White Trail without incident until we came to the Red Trail. We reached the New Manchester Mill Ruins went down the stairs and returned to the White Trail. The water level of Sweet Water Creek was defiantly height and close to the trail. Our concern was not the trail being flooded it was about the ice on the rocks as we proceed down the trail, having encountered a lot of ice on the trail up to this point. We proceeded down the Brown Trail until we encountered several fallen tress bocking the trail. Unsuccessfully attempting to find a way around the trees, we turned back. In summary the five of us had a good hike and a good time.

I would like to thank Gaby for joining us on his sixth AOC Hike. Suzi for joining us on her eight hike.
