We had a great rainy Halloween hike.  After looking at the weather forecast 9 AOC members arrived at the park and ride for the drive to Amicalola State Park.  The skies opened up for a down pour just before we arrived at the park.  I am sure a few of us were considering turning around to go home. We arrive at the base of the stairs to a light rain.  The water falls was beautiful with all the extras flow from the recent rain. Once on the trail, the rain continued to remain light for the first three miles until Stefan made a comment on how the rain was really not that bad. Immediately the ski responded with another down pour.

All nine hikers arrived at Lynn Foote Hike Inn wet and hungry.  It was really nice to have a warm dry spot to relax, dry off and rest.  The Inn had a plate full of lemon squares and about ¾ of a chocolate chip cake when we arrived. By the time we departed 30 minutes later, the chocolate chip cake had disappeared and the plate full of lemon squares was now a few small lemon squares on a plate.

On the hike back the sun came out and we have a chance to see the beautiful fall colors.  It was a nice end to a great hike with an awesome group.
