Although it remained cloudy and cool, we warmed up nicely as we hiked a large loop around Sope Creek, starting on the Sibley Forest trails and looping around to the ruins on the other side of the creek. When we got back to our cars, we had covered over 5 miles . . . perfect!

Our group was small, so conversation flowed freely among our members. It was great to welcome Amy and Steven, newcomers to the AOC. ~ Joyce
