Write Up:
Great weather for hiking.  Sunny and cool, with a slight breeze.  We saw about 100 people on the trail. 

A good time was had by everyone.  After completing the first loop, everyone elected to go eat Mexican food at Pueblo's off the square in Dahlonega.  We calculated we'd need 12 to 13 hours to complete both loops and we got a 9:30 am start.  Nobodywas up for a 4 hour night hike.

Maybe in the spring when the days are longer, we can give the second loop another try.
