We ventured from the Sibley Forest subdivision through the main trail in Sope Creek, through the middle section of Cochran Shoals and ultimately across the creek into the Interstate North section of the unit. We took a very long, seldom used trail that ended up on a road through Wildwood. At that point, we turned around and made out way back through many of the same trails. Other than the section in Sope Creek, we weren't on biking trails, which was nice. There were lots of bikers out today, so we had step off the trail several times on the Sope Creek section.

David and Bob kindly lent a helping hand to those of us who were unsure about where to step during the creek crossings. Their assistance was appreciated. I'm glad no one got wet!
