The humid weather today was really a factor in our D3 hike at Cochran Shoals. We hiked almost 8 miles with lots of hills . . . and we sweated! We're realizing that we need to start drinking much more water during our hikes, something we didn't pay much attention to during the cold winter and cool spring months.

Starting at Wildwood Center has been great (once our members learned where the parking deck is). We've been the only cars in the deck on Sunday hikes! Easy access to Cochran Shoals, plenty of parking spaces, and no fees!

Lots of our members are soon approaching centennial events. We have some celebrations coming up! ~ Joyce
