With only three of us, we decided to try to find as many different types of interesting Flora and Fauna as we could. Thus, this event should have been called “Gold Branch Nature Hike – How Much Can We Find?” We found the largest mushroom I have ever seen on a hike and an exceedingly small one. A spider, several types of birds from a distance, and several different flowers. Although we saw quite a few butterflies and moths none of them would stay still long enough to get their picture taken. As we came to the blowdown that I showed everyone how not to go down on 5/15 we found nice steps had been installed. Overall, we had a great time!
