The heat was down, so we kept a good pace with just a few short stops for water, ending with GPS readings at 5.9 to 6.0+.

We welcomed Mike's girlfriend, Foster, to the Thursday morning hike, as well as Linda D., who was on just her 11th AOC hike.

I got a "pity win" on the warm-up hill . . . my very first time! What a thrill!

We encountered the renegades on the lollipop trail. It's always fun to see them
