We had a fast & beautiful hike at Island Ford today!  There were 13 of us doing close to 3 mph, including many breaks!  We missed Joyce T's completing her weekly hike in exactly 2 hours.  However, we did need to begin at the visitors center & navigate (or learn a new dance gig-slippery sliding) the thick mud along the river.  We can hardly wait to see Joyce T's Grand Tetons photos! 

Thankfully, not to many slipped down or busted anything along our storm detructed trail!
