The weather was beautiful for Shirley's first official hike with the AOC since breaking her tibia and fibula in her left leg a few months ago. Shirley has worked diligently in PT, doing everything the doctors and therapists have asked of her, and it shows! She walks without a limp of any kind, and can even maneuver some hills, rocks and roots. In celebration of the day, Lee baked his famous apple cake to share with out group after the hike, making it a perfect event from beginning to end!
