Write Up:
We had 15 brave souls who showed up to challenge the trails on  big and little Kennesaw mountains in sub freezing temperatures early Sunday morning.  The weather was clear but very cold (about 27F at the start of the hike).  The view of the city at the top was quite spectacular with only a slight haze that blended in with the city skyline.  The group headed up and over both mountains and reconvened at Burnt Hickory Road where a few headed back over the same trail with the rest heading on for another 2 to 2.5 miles loop where the trail connected with Pigeon Hill and then back over big and little Kennesaw Hills.  Total distance about 7.5 miles.  No injuries to report and everyone successfully dodged the infamous tree without incidence (including Pam!).
